Discover the Rich Heritage of Thai Massage
The Feeling of Inner Peace is True Happiness
The Origins of Thai Massage
Thai massage, known as ‘Nuad Thai,’ has its roots deeply embedded in the ancient healing traditions of Thailand. Originating over 2,500 years ago, it is believed to have been developed by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, a physician to the Buddha. Over the centuries, this therapeutic practice has evolved, blending influences from traditional Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurvedic principles. Today, Thai massage is celebrated worldwide for its holistic approach, offering a unique blend of acupressure, yoga-like stretching, and deep rhythmic compressions.
- Whatever Massage You Choose
- What is a Full-Body Massage?
- What is a Partial-Body Massage?
- Any Caution for a Massage?
We recommend that you carry out massages regularly so that you benefit from the effects of holistic relaxation in the long term.
You will also enjoy a recurring break in everyday life, which is often so stressful and demanding, which gives you peace and new strength.
It is recommended to drink a glass of water or tea after the massage. We would be happy to serve both as complimentary.
A full-body massage is a broad term for various massage techniques that cover the entire body. Depending on the type of massage you choose, different methods such as stroking, kneading, tapping, or pressing may be used.
The process is not strictly predefined but is adapted to your physical condition, health, and individual needs. Different areas of the body are massaged with varying intensity, while the intimate area remains excluded.
A full-body massage typically lasts at least 60 minutes, with 90 minutes being ideal for maximum relaxation and benefits.
A partial body massage focuses on a specific area of the body, making it ideal if you want targeted relief in a particular region.
The techniques, process, and benefits are similar to those of a full-body massage, but the effects are concentrated on the chosen area. You can select from:
✔ Neck & back
✔ Face
✔ Hands
✔ Legs
✔ Feet
A partial body massage typically lasts 30 minutes, providing focused relaxation and relief.
So that a massage is an unreservedly beneficial experience for you and is good for you, you should only have it carried out when you are healthy.
If you are pregnant, the masseuse will decide whether a massage is suitable for you, depending on your personal condition and the month of pregnancy.
Massages should not be performed if you have the following health restrictions:
– very high blood pressure
– Cold symptoms, acute infections and fever
– fresh operations, broken bones and muscle injuries
– rheumatic diseases with inflammation of the joints or muscles
– inflammatory skin diseases, open wounds
– severe vascular diseases, thrombosis or phlebitis
– severe cardiovascular or cardiovascular diseases
– serious diseases such as AIDS or cancer
Please let us know in advance about possible impairments or if there is acute pain!
